The United Haitian Students of Florida serves as the official collegiate umbrella organization for Haitian students in colleges across the state of Florida. While our primary responsibility is to facilitate awareness and education relating to matters surrounding Haiti and the Haitian Diaspora, U.H.S.F. also seeks to foster the growth of Haitian and Haitian American students professionally. These students comprise many majors from over 20 schools across the state of Florida.
[foster the growth of Haitian
and Haitian American
students professionally]
For this reason we aligned ourselves in a joint effort with the Haitian American Leadership Organization because of their love of culture, and their ambition as future professionals, to unifying the Haitian American community in the Diaspora. With all the social economic problems plaguing our community, it’s imperative that WE UNITE.
With that said The United Haitian Students of Florida looks to provide its students with unique opportunities to build upon their impending careers. This year the student body is clamoring for the opportunity to meet again. The Joint Conference will be attended by many students across Florida, as well as the most of the elected Haitian American officials in South in Florida.
Together, we would like you to experience, Generation Now: Unmasking our Past and Defining our Future. We will bring to you student community seminars (aimed to support high school students and middle school students), a cultural showcase, dance competition, professional and collegiate seminars/forums, a presidential meeting, banquet, after party, soccer and domino tournament, and a BBQ all so we can unveil our history and impact our destiny. Conference package price is set at $50.00 per member organization students and non member student package price is set at $60 per person. This year’s conference falls on:
